Fairfax to Vienna - Arlington & Fairfax (Elec.)

Former right of way facing northeast from the end of Library Lane, near the corner of Maple Ave. (VA 123) and Nutley St (VA 243) in Vienna, Va. Photo from mid-April 2003.
This line ran between Vienna and Fairfax, Virginia, and connected with the Washington & Old Dominion at Vienna. It appears on one of the old topo maps referenced elsewhere on the Abandoned Railroad site, identified as "Electric RR".
The Fairfax terminal area is now a small shopping center called Railroad Square.
This line was built in the late 1800s and was abandoned in 1939.
