The Edgemoor & Manetta left the SAL main at Edgemoor and ambled a few miles to a mill in Lando. The 2.5 mile long line was owned by Manetta Mills (the line's only customer). Here is a link to a site on the E & M put together by Joseph Hinson. Operations were discontinued July 9, 1975, when the road's steam locomotive was condemned. The steam engine referenced on that page is shown in the picture below. It is on display in Richburg, SC, which was not on the E & M, but is on the still-active Lancaster & Chester.

The old E & M interchange with the SAL/SCL main line in Edgemoor. It is not known whether these tracks still exist.
